Breaking Barriers: How the Pad A Girl Initiative is Transforming Lives
At the Damilare Aluko Foundation, we’re proud to continue our Pad A Girl Initiative in partnership with Mimi’s Charity Home, providing menstrual hygiene products and education to girls aged 11–16. At our third 2025 event, we reached even more girls, helping them stay in school, build confidence, and break the stigma around menstruation. This movement is changing lives, and we’re committed to expanding its impact until no girl is left behind because of period poverty.

We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership between the Dami Aluko Foundation and Mimi’s Charity Home, focused on providing sanitary items and promoting menstrual health for girls in the Mimi community over the next 12 months.
